摘要
本文介绍了跨国公司的定义、发展层次、跨国公司的基本类型和国际地位。文章分析了跨国公司的特征:对外直接投资、在全球范围内活动、实行全球战略、经营一体化，并分析了其全球化时代的特征:竞争重点由“资源竞争”、“市场竞争”转向了“科技竞争”，确立了“知识优先”的竞争观念。国际竞争从产品竞争转组织竞争。合作竞争和双赢战略成为跨国公司之间竞争的主格调。文章还分阶段顾了跨国公司的发展历程，对其发展历史进行了详实的描述;探讨了跨国公司对世界经济的影响，和跨国公司可能遭遇的政治风险。在此基础上，文章分析了跨国公司的发展趋势，主要有:跨国公司对外直接投资和国际化生产的影响不断加深;发达国家跨国公司相互间的投资仍将是主体;发达国家的跨国公司将更加重视发展中国家的市场潜力;对发展中国家的投资上升;跨国公司对外直接投资向服务业等第三产业转移;跨国公司的研究与开发能力更趋国际化;跨国购并受到限制，趋势减弱;新兴市场经济体和转轨经济体对跨国公司投资的需求增加;对其开放更多的领域;跨国公司知识化和本土化趋势加强。

New market economy and transforming economy need more capital form TNCs，open more areas to them. TNCs will provide them with knowledge and take their home country as the source of profit.
